Behind him he heard his father chuckling, and then felt a hand on his shoulder. He paused, and then looked back, seeing the man smile at him. Usopp swallowed, then declared again in a soft but firm voice, "I really will do it dad."

The smile widened and the hand squeezed. "I know you will."

Yay for my random Yasopp and Usopp pics that come every once in a blue moon!! So, just the other day I got a comment on my "Waiting for the Day" picture from way back when [link] saying that the picture helped come up with a fanfic for these two. I was really touched that she liked it that much and went off to Fanfiction to see what she had written. I think she did a fantasic job at writting up how she thinks the father and son duo would meet and I loved reading the fic all the way through! Want to read it? Go here: [link]

So, after I read that fic I have to say I was inspired to doodle yet another Yasopp and Usopp pic and here is our result! The quote at the very top is from her fic and this scene just made me want to draw it so bad... that I ended up doing so. This pic only took me 20 mins or so, so I promise it really didn't pull me away from all of the other work I'm trying to finish.

So with that I would just like to say thank you for the comment, the dedication, and for writting a fic that got my Usopp and Yasopp brain going!! I hope you all like the drawing! Ahhhhhhhhhhh these two need to meet alreadyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! XD
