Description
My cats always want to give me kisses and headbutts when I am on the toilet...Sometimes I run to the bathroom and slam the door in one or more catfaces just to have some privacy. But most of the time I am not fast enough.

Thanks to Youtube I learned that this behaviour seems pretty common...

It is the truth. To a cat, a human seems to be a lot more fascinating when he or she is on the toilet with the pants down or completely naked in the bath tub. Dunno why.

I am allowed to do that but when I come out again, they will sit all together and give me the stink eye.

Hah! Β I get the sink eye too, but they will actually ram the door if it's shut and I'm in the shower. Β They really do not like it when they can't see me. Β *laughs* Β All 10 of them.

My youngest goes berserk at my bedroom door at 4:30 in the morning, because he knows Β I will let him in. The handle is ruined although I tried to cover it. But at least he understood that I will not have him in my bedroom at night. My older tom is with me then, because he needs some peace and a food bowl for himself. And because he sleeps quietly in my bed without keeping me awake all the time. Anyway, how do you guys manage to have so many cats? Do you all live in huge houses, or do you let them out all the time so they don't go crazy at each other? One more cat at my place and there would be a never ending war...Β

I know how you feeling
My stepmother's black cat loves to follow me anywhere sometimes. When I was in the bathroom, he would put his paw under the door and try to get in. Few times when I went in, I look around to made sure he not followed me, I closed the door, turned around and he was just sitting on the floor. I said "How the heck you got in here without me see you walk in?!" He just 'meow"

I totally get you sometimes I leave the door without locking because I am on hurry and my cat has his food bowl in the bathroom and he thinks I will feed him just because I am there so he comes running and opens the door, so far no one passed and saw me but I swear it gets annoyingΒ

At least he has a good reason (his food bowl), but obviously cats also come there just for watching...Β

It could be worse, you could have to do more than pee. XD
Trust me though, my little guy Chip is like a ghost. I sneak in thinking I'm gonna get some peace, then I "have a seat" and there he is hiding in the bathtub looking at me. Sometimes I think he does it on purpose.

Maybe they think the way humans pee is all funny or they are afraid we fall in and nobody will feed them anymore.

I'm leaning to that last one, since my cats also freak out whenever I go shower or close my bedroom door;;

I have to close my bedroom door, otherwise I would not get a second of sleep. At 4:30 in the morning, Eddy will wake me up by wailing in front of said door. He's so loud, I am always afraid
the neighbours will start complaining.
