You could have at least used Nano, emacs isn't included on every system.
I know of syntax files for VIM, I don't know of a way to get actionscript syntax highlighting for gEdit, but I've heard that you could get the syntax files for that as well (not sure). I also suggest including a link to the external debug Flash Player, I use that in Windows, I assume it works the same way in Linux

I use gedit with syntax highlighting for as3.
It's just habit to type "emacs filename" when i need to edit or make a file quick, especially if it only has a few lines.

... I just get the JPEG. It won't let me download the zip (shouldn't it be a .tar.gz or .tar.bz2?)

There it should be fixed now, sorry about that. I guess I fucked up and selected the preview before the zip. Don't know specifically why its a zip honestly.
