I must admit, this piece of art is not exactly the most original I've seen. but it is amongst the most skilled art pieces I've seen. the shading on her body gives a a feeling it is very realistic. I'm astonished by the serenity this OC has on her face. like she really had fun in the beach. (I assume due to the swimsuit bottom part she is wearing) although I am kinda confused when I look at her face. is she smiling nervously? or plain smiling? these two lines that mark the face do explicitly show she is smiling, but the viewer cannot see what kind of smile it is. the arms placed behind her back are exceptionally well drawn and the skin is just perfect and consistent around all the body. another part that a bit disturbed me were her eyebrows. I am impressed in the left eyebrow that you used the frontal bangs to save on recoloring but it is not consistent in her right eyebrow. where is the color in the "transparent zone?"
these are all the details I can find in the art and I must admit that looking from afar. it really pulled my attention for it's beauty. the technique is very smooth and well used in ALL the image, watercolor is one of the easiest to control so It is not very surprising to find perfection all among the drawing.
as for why I gave 3.5stars on originality? in the era of selfies today. it is quite common to see a girl picturing herself after being in the beach. what DID give the half star bonus. is that SOMEONE ELSE is picturing her. and you don't see her arm stretched forwart to hold a phone/camera. so it's a tiny bit of original in my eyes.
and LASTLY Impact.
looking at the image, as said before. gives me a feeling of serenity. she is elated from the visit in the beach and you can actually see the nervousness in her eyes when she asks someone to picture her.
