Don't know about everyone, but Im tired of the dreary grey shades of Winter. I long for the warm sunshine and return of life. Could just be me though...

Cindy here was just lounging in the sun, being warm. Suddenly, a disturbance in the form of a kitten playing with her tail occurs. Not to be a killjoy, she keeps wagging her tail and eventually begins to run, tail in tow and kitten giving chase in the attempt to pounce on the body pillow of a tail.
After a few hours of play, the kitten grows tired. Cindy picks up the kitten, staring at it as it slowly fades into a peaceful sleep. Cindy gets a flashback of her parents, though faint and distorted, its enough to bring a tear to her eyes.
"You seem to be alone."
Cindy does her best to envelope the kitten in her version of being a "loaf". Tail wrapped around to ensure maximum comfort to the kitten. Shortly after, Cindy too falls asleep due to the warmth of the sun rays.
"GYAH!" Cindy suddenly wakes up to being greeted by a sunset. Kitten no where to be found.
She gets up and looks around, but with no luck in finding the kitten.
"I hope you'll be safe out there. The world is harsh and unforgiving." She thinks to herself.
"Hey! There you are!" A familiar voice rings through the horizon.
Cindy sees a few of her friends out in the distance, waving to get her attention. Before Cindy heads towards her friends, she looks back to where she was looking for the kitten.
"You'll be fine. You're good at making friends and theyre just as good as family away from family! Plus, Ive got your back if you ever need me." She thinks as she cracks a smile.
"Come on! Dinner is getting cold the longer we're out here! Yells her friend.
"Ok! Ok! Keep your shirt on! Sheesh!" Cindy retorts as she returns to her new family.

Well, that little story wasn't supposed to happen but it happened!🤣
