Description I'm in one of those "dry" periods now. No ideas, no creativity, I'm just a bit bored and too lazy. Periods like that always pass, though it might not feel like it when you're in one.

When I'm out of inspiration or motivation I use to go through old shot to see if I can find something I've overlooked earlier. This is two old shots that I found, I think they make a nice pair. They are taken at almost the same place, but looking in different directions. They are also three or four months apart in time.

Sometime I have a feeling that I'm too critical of my own work. Anyway, it's good to go through old shot's like this with fresh eyes and no expectations.

oh, how lovely!

for the color, i prefer the red one.. for composition, i prefer the green one it has more depth in it, the path inside it leads my eyes to see further

Oh wow, this is stunning... This defines nature. Nothing has been touched by man.

It's really amazing how the colours just change completely. Both photos look so amazingly beautiful that I can't decide which one is better.

I don't know what else to say that I love this. Let's just leave it like that.

awesome stuff, they work ewell together and it really shows you just how much things do change.

However, the bottom photom if you cropped out those leaves (a maybe a bit off the top to keep it balanced) and went with a long format, I think it would be amazing .

I know exactly what you mean about being over critical when it comes to your own work, i'm the same way (thats why nothing new has made it onto my page ha not a good thing ) But still both these pieces are amazing, and as usual they make you want to jump right out of your own home and step through the monitor into your world!!!!

All artists are their own hardest critic. We need the critic, to improve our work, et cetera, but we need to push it aside at the point of creation. So don't be afraid to take a plunge and create like mad. One never knows what will exactly come out of it.

Which part of Sweden do you live? Your forest shots are amazing. I really would like to visit those places
First I thought that the lower one is beter with that little scary/spooky atmosphere but now I think I like the upper one a bit more. Road is nicely on thirds and framing is very good overall. And that green is just beautiful!

Take care man

I live in the very south end of Sweden. I actually find the landscape around where I live now very boring, but there is some little spots of beauty like this forest.

I like the upper one best myself too. It has a nice mint green color
Thanks a lot for the comment and the fav!

I actually had a very similar shot submitted earlier. It was the same scene just in a vertical format. I deleted it a while ago because I didn't think it was good enough. If i would've submitted any of the two shots as a deviation it would've been the green one. I personally like that better. Thank you for the comment nonetheless!
