Description The sight of an oodon is a rare one and one associated with luck. Often revered by local natives as spirits of the forest or other such deities. With their superlative speed matched with an uncanny grace allows most of them to live their extremely long lifespan, raining from 1000 - 10,000 years of age, though exact figures are still a mystery. This long lifespan has made them a prime target of poachers and hunters alike, most lured by the thought of gaining immortality through the oodon, though most do not make it out alive.

Oodon is pronounced udon.

By any chance do you happen to have any connection with the Tale of Tales or The Endless Forest? (Same game two names xD) I'm just being curious. But asides from that this is fabulous artwork!!!

Do they have any natural predators?

I've played it a little bit (like an hour) but that was wayyy after I drew this. Pretty sure I was inspired by some art from the game though, it's so pretty despite the fact that it's like what, 11 years old?

Yeah I've always liked the magical little deer god idea. The game is quite old, i'm not sure exactly how old but asides from that i really like this picture. It brings a smile to my face.
