What's a Symbiote form?

I'm not sure if "symbiote form" is the right term for it, but what I meant by that is the humanoid form of the symbiote (aka when it has a host and it takes partial or full control of said host).

In ecology, it's an organism in a partnership with another such that each profits from their being together. In the same sense, a symbiote is another life form from another planet in the Marvel universe. They're mostly known as Klyntar. However, they can not survive on earth on their own as they cannot breathe oxygen and therefore need a host who can (in most cases humans, but animals can also be hosts).
The Symbiotes bond with said hosts, creating a bond through which a single entity is created. They also are able to slightly alter their hosts' personalities, and/or memories, along with amplifying their physical and emotional traits and personality and granting them super-human abilities. The first and most well-known symbiote is Venom, who originally attached itself to Spider-Man during the Secret Wars storyline, but after Spider-Man rejected it, Venom instead attached itself to Eddie Brock. Symbiotes can also have several hosts.
This is kind of hard to explain even with the wiki references lmao. Though you'll understand it much better if you read some of the Marvel comics featuring Venom or other symbiotes or see any of the movies that include them.
