I watched this movie yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it. Can you tell me what's the name of the book, and the writer, please? I would be grateful. Thanks!

The book is called Let the right one in, just like the film and is written by John Ajvide Lindqvist.
I'm not sure what the book is called in Romania, but in hungary the film is called Engedj be!, so perhaps it sounds a bit similar in romanian to.

I remember this scene, this is where she offs her Renfield. Powerful scene it was. It really highlighted the slavish nature of their relationship, but Eli was not without benevolence.
The part where they show him laying on the ground, camera to his mutilated face, was really great.

If you get a chance, read the book. There's alot about Hakan that got left out. You might feel differently about him.

Yeah. I am glad the movie left that stuff out. It was better to focus on the Eli and Oskar relationship. There isn't enough time in a movie to explain everything found in the book.

too true. thats why the book is always better. it explains things in detail more. there is always more in a book then in a movie.
