Previous WIP version.
Is the colored version looks better? No... this is when I hate my coloring skill being at elementary school level. ._.
I will probably work on it some more as I practice on coloring.

It looks fine to me.
If you want to push the envelope some, I would recommend doing some 'flatting' prior to adding additional rendering of lighting. pretty much pick a solid color, set to 100% opacity and just fill in, and then use that as a ground from which to do additional shadow and lighting work from (ie pick a solid color for the boots, either for darks or mid-tones, and then use that as a starting point, and then do that for every segment of different colors).
but with what you got right now, it's got almost a watercolor quality to the colors which is kinda cool I think

Ugh... that's a lot of information to take in at once.
I will probably study some more on SAI to see if I can find the options you speak of...

It's quite well done, though there are few colourless bits here and there(but then, that can be an artistic choice)
Also love the fact that you've coloured the areas around the scars a bit, not a lot of artists get that right.
