Lex Luthor is the son of Lionel and Letitia Luthor, wealthy residents of Metropolis. As a teenager, he spent years in Smallville, with his Aunt Lena. There he encountered Clark Kent and first became jealous of Superman. Years later, Lex appeared in Metropolis and built his technology company, Lexcorp The company grew by leaps and bounds. With financial success comes political power and soon Luthor was considered to be the most powerful man in Metropolis. Then came the day when the people looked beyond Luthor's skyscraper to see a man in the skies above. With the arrival of Superman, Luthor's world was turned upside-down. Superman openly accused Lex of his criminal behavior, shattering the humanitarian image Lex had created. Lex Luthor has been known to use a variety of weapons and inventions of his own making, especially those made of Kryptonite. He has also used various battle suits of his own creation that allows him to go for extended bouts with the likes of Superman and other superhumans.

Powers & Abilities:
Lex Luthor is not a metahuman, but is an intellectual genius, one of the smartest people on the planet, often (usually by himself) said to be able to turn the world into a Utopia free of crime a sickness if not for his obsession with beating Superman. Lex however suffers from a self-obsessed and narcissistic personality that causes him to lack empathy with the rest of humanity. Lex blames Superman for the world not recognizing his status as the greatest person alive.
He has a ruthless streak evidenced by the sheer number of people he has either had killed or ruined over the years to get him where he is today. Also, as Superboy witnessed first hand, Luthor actually cares very little about even those closest to him, when the Boy of Steel called him out on his intellectual callousness after finding Lex's sister as a wheelchair-bound woman in Smallville. Lex cured her easily, but quickly removed the effects of his cure while saying; "Lex giveth, Lex taketh away."

The original warsuit was a LexCorp prototype that Superman was forced to fight. However, due to the fact that the untested weapon drove its user insane, Superman was unable to pin anything on Lex and was forced to pull back. Years later, Luthor obtained a specially made warsuit built on Apokolips. this new suit can withstand fights with superman, While its strength level could never be a match for Superman at his peak level, it can be when he is weakened by taking hits from its kryptonite weapons. It can easily overpower Batman and Deathstroke. Lex's suit can normally fly through rocket thrusters in the boots. He has a force field that is passively generated all across the armor, including the seemingly unprotected head from the torso. The armor also has an energy shield installed in the left gauntlet. Combined with the armor itself, it creates enough defensive protection to survive Superman's godly strength.

The suit can disengage it's own limbs while maintaining enough hydraulic and electrical power to pin down a weakened Superman, Other parts of the suit can be detached to reveal hidden weapons. Lex's new armor possesses a wireless connection to his own satellites for computation, analysis and operational purposes. Unlike the prior model however, this new armor has access to hidden satellites in Jupiter's asteroid belt in order to access high profiles agencies and governments computers,
