Maybe it's better to put this in a journal, but I didn't want it to be forgotten too quickly so a deviation might help. ><

I've decided on a way to release Hyrule Café, but it doesn't seem ideal so I'd like to hear from anyone interested in playing.

Basically, I'd like to release the game in parts. The game plays like your average otome game where you play as yourself and interact with the in-game characters (Ike, Marth, Sheik, Pit, Link, and Peach are the main ones). My original idea was to have everyone's stories/routes in one game like the pros do it, but after trying it out I think it'll take me FOREVER to finish at that rate. It gets really messy due to my limited organizational skills to keep up with so many files for one game....So the plan is to release the stories separately!

First Release - Pit's story. You interact with Pit mostly, but the other characters would be in the game too. Think of it like an Otome Drama CD? Pit is the main character and everyone else just helps you two get together.... lol. Pit's release would introduce you to Hyrule Café and the game play.

Second Release - Ike & Marth's story. I want the two to be in one release, so this one would be bigger... You could date Ike, Marth, or give up and make them date each other (yes I promised this route would be available). Because this comes after Pit's release, basic details like you knowing the staff and about the café are carried over from the previous game. If you dated Pit in the previous game, this would not carry over to Ike & Marth's release. It's just so you don't have to be re-introduced into the game each time.

Third Release - Link & Sheik's story. Just like Ike & Marth's release, the staff has already gotten to know your character as a friend.

So that's my plan for how things will work. I'm not 100% set on this, so I'd really appreciate input on whether this is a good idea or bad idea.... Let me know if you can think of a better way as well! Point out the flaws! Thanks for reading!!
