I would have to quote the whole passage except after a week's work I'm feeling lazy. But you rabid Snape fangirls know which one I mean. Of course you do. Of course it's the chapter after Snape's Worst Memory where Severus is feeling a little vengeful and shatters poor Harry's bottle with potion...
The perspective was SO hard to do. o_0 The proportions seemed rather OK on paper but after painting they looked a bit off. My mother said though that they looked alright though, and she's an artist.(Yep, I just double-check the technical aspects of my work with my mother.
)The other objects on the table are not meticulously done but that is because I don't believe in too much detail, being a fan of Impressionst and Expressionist painters after all.
Oh and the blue lighting is because otherwise it looked rather dull and it adds depth of colour.
Just so you know peeps. I work with a CRT screen. If the picture looks crappy(e.g. too light) on your flatscreen/laptop it's your computer. (I know, I'm looking at my laptop screen and cringing.
