My latest fanart piece... After the announcement of the new Harry Potter book, I'm in a mood for drawing a few illustrations for that fandom. Coming up next, a cover idea for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"I hope you'll enjoy!
Oh, and I'm now going after the 240 comments I still have to respond to! sorry folks... I hate not to reply to comments... And I have got a few notes waiting too... Sorry, I am not often on deviantart, maybe twice a week.

The room looks absolutely amazing. I love the way you always manages making a simple looking room seem so interesting and full of dark secrets. I also love the look on Severus' face and the way he is holding his wand.

he looks very impressive and villainous.. I like the background too, especially the stained glass

Oh. Oh wow. This is... well, "beautiful" or "gorgeous" really doesn't suit, and nothing else does it justice. The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind, suiting this character to the T. There's the fantasy element there, and you've certainly spent time on the details (the books, the corked bottles, the candle-on-a-skull), but what strikes me most is the pervading greyness of everything. Oh, there's light definitely, no heavy curtains of black, but it's a very distant, inconsequential sort of light. Little gleams in the grey and blocked out by the intricate window. Fitting, I think, for a character like Severus Snape, who would certainly -choose- to stay within the darkness of his dungeons before venturing out into sunshine.
And Snape. Oh is he ever yummy. I want to SNOG him here, and I don't think I've ever, ever said that before about his character (and I've spent much too many years fawning after him). The sharp features, evil eyes, swathes of black cloth, indolent posture, and the delicious fingers, tapping against his seat. He's sexy and magnetic, absolutely irresistable. I'd like to know what he's looking at, what he's thinking about, and what prompted him into this position, certainly not his usual position! Favorites. XD
