yeah, since the space shuttle can't fly on it's own in the earth atmosphere, it needs a plane to get where it is going.

This is sad! but a great shot. I think we as a country made a huge blunder in ending the shuttle program. In someways it exemplified a national pride!

yeah, I know, I'm very sad to see the space shuttle program ending too, now these marvels of human technology will just sit in hangers and collect dust.
