I need to work on drawing sleeping puppers. I've been spoiled with how fluffy and amorphous my dogs are, so I've been able to cheat at canine anatomy... riolu are canine, right?
And sorry this page is so rushed. It gave me a surprising amount of trouble for some reason, so I'm just glad I can move on. If any errors slipped past me, be sure to let me know!

The other PMD should count their blessings. Zack is how I would realistically see a 'normal' human winding up in the Pokemon universe going. Maybe a little bit luckierΒ than the average human; if we were being truly realistic, Zack would have died to the hounds in the previous chapter since it was a million to one chance that a rescue team would be passing by at that exact second. Of course, then that wouldn't have made for an interesting story, would it?
Sorry for rambling. Just an interesting thought.
I didn't spot any errors currently myself. Don't feel obligated to rush; I'm still stuck on chapter four myself right now. I'll likely go into that in the PM soon.

Poor guy...he's lost in a world he doesn't know, without food, no place to stay at night, turned into a 2'04'' Jackal with blue and black fur, has paws instead of hands and feet, and he doesn't know how to fight, despite being a PokΓ©mon who see fighting as a part of their life.

Yeah, for the number vs amount debacle, remember that if it is concrete and countable (ex: chickens in the US) you use 'number', and if it is abstract, such as describing the volume of water (even if you have a system (ex: metric) to describe it with) you use 'amount'.
