Description

The last of the requests. I honestly considered dropping them since I have a pretty good handle on digital painting now, but then I thought I'd challenge myself by trying something a little different with each one. One of my goals that I failed to accomplish was experimenting with color. I guess I'm just too new at this style to try adding funky shading and highlights, but there's always next time! (which probably won't be for quite a while)

1) BobandSylvie

Sylvie the sylveon (??? minutes) For this style I normally put down a base color inside the sketch, shade it, then go over it with each different color and fix the shading along the way. Because of the complexity of this character, I thought I'd try putting down all the colors first, then going back to shade. That actually made things much, much harder. I have no idea why, but good to know I suppose.

2) Pixaphy

Meowstic (19 minutes) I aimed for 10 minutes, realized that was too unrealistic and switched to 15 minutes. I still went over, but hey. It turned out nice!

3) NoVaDesertfire

Eevee (15 minutes) Not my best one, but I did manage to just barely stay within my time goal, so I count it as a big success!

4) Rockington (Discord)

Benjamin the cat (-25 minutes) Again, I went well over my target time, but this one might have been the most fun to work on so I'm not complaining.

5) Littledc5 (blue) (and Flame-Shadow (red))

Dragons (??? minutes) Not much commentary here. Derg get squoosed. It was fun
