Description
That's a stupid name and I doubt I'll actually use it! o_OAlso, UGH. I've been wanting to do more of these, but I've been crippled by tiredness for the last few days and it's all been rather annoying. I have made progress on the game itself, though!
Anyway, I'm using this random type generator that I made: [link] and trying to come up with ideas for the combinations it gives me. The first was Bestial/Frost, and I wanted to do a frost wolf Transient form for Lupup *anyway*... but then it ended up being more fox-like so, uh, it's probably a fox? Not a very well-drawn one, but I'm only spending like ten minutes on these things!
The sketch on the left was the first version I came up with, which had a different tail and neck... thing. It's probably not as good though. Hmm, the more I look at this, the more I wonder whether I should have done something more with the tail, the general markings, etc... Perhaps I should refine these more rather than just trying to rush through them, but OH WELL. o_O
Perhaps I should rush through a bunch of designs, choose the ones I like most, THEN refine them more before adding them to the game... Yes, there's an idea.
Anyway, this thing would be a Bestial/Frost Transient that would probably evolve from Lupup, if I decided to add it to the game!

Ooh, this fox is lovely! Those colors are gorgeous, and I really like the shape of its tail. I'm not too sure what to think of its angular head, though. I don't DISLIKE it, but...

I really like the colouration on this one, I think it really looks frosty! I also like the pointy head!
I do agree with the other comment, I like the sketch's tail! I do think that'd be enough though, I do wonder whether markings and crystal-ruffles might make it more complex than it should be, snow is indeed pure but also simple, I really like how the ruffle looks like snow in that regard!

I actually like the sketch better; it has more of an ice-cyrstal-ish look to it, but it's not as if the colored one is terrible or anything! Either would be perfectly fine, in my opinion. I don't think it desperately needs any special, super-duper markings either. Fresh snow has a fresh, pure look to it, and I think this creature reflects that well in its current state. Though it probably would look just as fine if you were to put markings on it. I just don't think they are necessary.

I thought the more crystal-like design was 'too much'; its tail reminded me of Vulpix or a chocobo and and seemed 'thematically inappropriate' because of that, and its spiky neck things seemed too... aggressive? So I like how the right one is ice AND snow, unlike the sketch which is just ice!

I think if you went with the spiky neck, but the non spiky tale, that would strike enough balance to make it not look too aggressive.

Ah yes. If you are trying to go for both ice AND snow, I guess the second one is indeed better (though I haven't played Pokemon or whatever it is chocobos come from (...Final Fantasy?), so I can't really comment on any similarities!). The colored one definitely looks more huggable, so that works in its favor too.
