As someone with a very "uncute" drawing style, i prefer the normal ben than the cute version, I dont like the original pokemon designs at all, i prefer the more realistic interpretations of them the fans do, the normal ones just look silly to me and i can't take them seriously uvu (just an opinion tho)

No, I think I agree. Some of the official art just doesn't... make sense, or even look good under scrutiny. I almost always make corrections while drawing pokemon.

I prefer for example how Zander draws Raichu, or the non-cutified style snap draws it, it just feels more natural serious and, ironically, cuter to me
