Description Taken on the A701, the scenic route from M74 to Edinburgh in the Scottish Borders, between Moffat and Tweedsmuir. The sun was out but it was a chilly day with a strong wind and the clouds were rolling across the sky quite fast. Due to the weather conditions the lighting and cloud conditions were changing every few minutes giving a spectacular display.

Thanks Taryn, appreciated and nice to be back, but I have a fair bit of catching up to do. Saw this view in the mirror of the car as I was driving home on a back country road and thought "I will have some of that", and lucky for me it turned out good.

Thanks Jennifer Saw it in the car mirror as I was driving home from Southern England, so turned around and I was impressed with the view as well. Mind you, it was a bit damp and cold, but that did not distract me from the pure beauty of the scene.
