So yea this isn't an unusually large shell... No, me and my mate Sean just have nothing better to do other than go to the beach and take pictures of shells, and getting strange looks from beach go-ers...---

Haha despite all the strange looks you may have gotten, this is a really great photograph. My only critique would be to smooth out the sand around it, but thats just me being picky.

Great detail, although a general rule of good photography is that the focal point in a photograph should never be dead center. Try some interesting cropping or something. Could be a lovely shot!

I wish we did, though! It snowed one day a few years ago when I was younger, but I don't really remember it all that well.
