When hinges creak in doorless chambers,And strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls,
Whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still,
That is the time when ghosts are present,
Practicing their terror for ghoulish delight...
A little fact for you all; when I first created Baxter Quilliam DeCrow, he was originally an undertaker, not a musician, and he was based in Victorian England rather than modern day England. So I decided to bring him back to his roots for my big Halloween piece (and my 666th deviation
)Troublemakers Reuben and Lydia have been immortalised as hideous gargoyles to protect the gates of Meadborough Cemetery. Reuben's griffin design was created by YangEmoji , thank you ever so much
And the ghosts in question belong to the Penguin Society, cursed to roam the land of the living as punishment for their hedonism and abuse of power against the townsfolk.
(I don't know, I couldn't think of a good backstory for them here lol)
