Description
A cargo shuttle soars through a planet's atmosphere to rejoin the mother ship.The craft is a Type 9A cargo shuttle designed by Rick Sternbach. The registry I put on this one was for the USS Bozeman, from one of my favourite TNG episodes (Cause and Effect). I like the idea that the ship was put back into service after the episode, since, although it was from 80 years in the past, the spaceframe would have been nearly new. They just would have had to replace the antiquated tech.
Modeled and rendered in Anim8or with post work in Photoshop.

Hmm, that wasn't really in my mind when I made it, but I suppose it does look a bit like those old scifi book covers. Some of those were fairly snazzy. Thanks.

Thanks, although I should mention that the design is by Rick Sternbach. He only drew a side view though, so I filled in the details from that.
