Description
Japanese themed pyrographs burned into this beautifully hand made chisel box made by aldwarke .The chisels are marvellous Kirschen brand chisels. Kirschen means "cherries" in German, so I decided to do a cherry blossom themed box to match.
The cherry blossom designs are inspired by Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints. I continued the Japanese theme on the underside with a Japanese dragon.

Aslan Box and Lid
I was very lucky to get my hands on this beautiful box made by :iconaldwarke: with some ingenious hand chiseled indents around the edges of the lid to reveal a beautiful striped pattern from the ply layering.
I've always loved the poster for "The Lion,The Witch and the Wardrobe" and the tooth bites on the edges of the lid made me thin

you got letters swapped in the word for cherry. The german translation is Kirsche

Their brand name is Marke Kirschen (Kirschen being the plural of Kirsche).
Thanks for the tip. It was just a typo as I had it correct the second time I used the word. The first one is now corrected.

Sometimes i wonder, if it is to brazen or nitpicky, to point stuff like that out, but if you are trying to advertise something it is kinda sad, if interest gets lost, because spelling nerds like me stumble over everything.

I do appreciate you saying so. Personally I would be more focused on the artwork than typos because this is an art website not a creative writing website, therefore should I have spotted a typo on someone's dA picture description I would comment primarily on the artwork and then maybe (only if it was particularly relevant to the piece) mention the typo as a "by the way" rather than doing it the other way around. To only comment on a typo and not mention the artwork at all is for me a bit rude, but I do like to get things right so I appreciate you letting me know.
