Description An unfinished sketch of a shikigami, based strongly off of Matsushita Yoko's shikigami in Yami no Matsuei. This particular one is an eel (water type, of course). Hmm, no name yet, but I'm sure I'll think of one by the time I finally finish. ^^'

I find Matsushita-sensei's work to be greatly inspiring--what with the loads of detail she puts into her drawings. So this is sort of a tribute to her, I guess.

(And I do plan to do a human version, as well.)

looks menacing is a calming sort of way. i see you pointed out that he's an eel but what else is he what is he some kind of water dragon?

well even if it isn't finished it's a great line drawing.

I suppose that he would be closest to being a sort of demi-god. Hmm, it's been quite a while since I read Yami no Matsuei, so I don't remember very well what the shikigami were described as being. Anyway, this one, like those in YnM, has two forms--one human and one creature--and can switch between the two at will. He's not a dragon though. ^^

*chuckles* Think of it as practice? No worries, I still need to figure out the names/types of Tsuzuki's shikigami, THEN I'll pester people for thier drawing talent!

But drawing all that detail takes such a long time for me. Shikigami infoness: [link]

Heh. I think I would like to try drawing a number of the official shikigami sometime. (And it might actually be easier than the one I'm doing, since I wouldn't have to think it all up!)

Thankies! I hope I do finish it; working on stuff like this really drains my creativity and energy--but I'd really like to get it done!
