Zuko slung his arm around Katara's shoulders nonchalantly as they walked. "So, I guess I'll let you pick where we go tonight," he stated smugly.

Katara smirked, tilting her head up to glance at Zuko. He looked rather dashing that evening, his golden eyes glowing more than normal, his charcoal hair falling against his pale skin rather nicely, his lips tilted in the cutest, slightly crooked smile... No, no no. Can't show weakness, Katara thought. Regaining composure, she folded her arms with confidence and said, "Oh, so ANY place I choose?" Her blue eyes twinkled.

Zuko cleared his throat, and swung his head around to catch her gaze, forehead against hers. With slight defeat, he admitted: "Okay, well, not ANY place..."

Katara continued on smiling.

Just thought I'd dabble into some of my writing capabilities to come up with a small little story to go with this piece.

I know, it's typical "date", expected, not original lol. But it was fun to draw. The first thing I thought of when I thought "date" was playful, fun, easy-going, as well as both getting dressed up to go out for the night. So I wanted to see them in modern clothes that represented their original looks as well.

So, here it is!
