I don't know if it's obvious, but he's actually happy. You know when kids put boxes on their heads and start laughing, he's kinda that.I don't know.... you can't see his expression (dumb comment) enough, so it looks like he's trapped and can't get out.
but it's not supposed to be. he's actually a very happy Davy.
