I believe that, at the core of it all, the appeal of vore comes from the idea of absolute domination over another being. Where one being has overwhelmed the other to the point that the latter being has absolutely no chance of escape or relief. It is a process of power, complete domination. You must also consider that most people don't understand why they have certain fetishes, they just do. I personally believe that whatever fetish you have was installed into your brain during your youth. Out of all of my fetishes, I can certainly point to a number of childhood experiences that could have piqued my interest in the first place. If you ask me, "the appeal of vore" makes about as much sense as the appeal of feet or even toasters. Yes, there is a woman with a toaster fetish. Go figure.
