I'm far from being an Overwatch fan, and even farther from liking Tracer. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a great snaky scene when I see one!

i like the ending where the snake slithers away to digest its prize, with the prey's scared expression. it makes us viewers think about her impeding fate

She can control her own time.
If she's trapped, fast forwarding won't do anything, she'd still be trapped. It's not teleportation.
She could have recalled as soon as the snake attacked her, but if she had been sitting in the same spot for quite some time, recalling wouldn't help because she'd just appear back in the same place she was before.
Recall can only go so far back as well.
