Considering the stuff you commission, I'm convinced you're a me from an alternative universe, the only difference being you have enough money to pay for commissions lol.

That is some seriously strong digestive juices that barnacle has, it's already started dissolving her clothes and she's not even inside the thing totally!

That poor barnacle! She's gonna give him a stomach-ache.Β
Β Β ..that's way worseΒ when you're all stomach!
Very nice work, love the consistency and style, the figures and poses are nice, and it's easy to 'read'. I did get a bit 'dizzy' from the ever-changing screen direction (right, left, right/shallow, deeper, right, left/deeper)... but it's possible you intendedΒ to keep the viewer off-balance as part of the 'hectic' feel of the piece... right?

That is one foolish villainess - never sacrifice a mook without a good reason! Now there's just her, and the escaped fugitive, who will now have an easier time escaping, or defeating her, than the fugitive would have if the security guard was still with the villainess.

That's what I've said on the other picture. She was probably a loyal mook who would have helped her boss if the barnacle had grabbed her while they were trying to slip past it.

And besides - it costs money to replace mooks - you need to do background checks, train them, pay them, make sure that they aren't going to join the rebels over unsafe work practices - all wasted.

Not to mention that as I've said elsewhere, she has nobody to help her if she's attacked by any other predators. She must assume she's invincible.
It's the trope known as Bond Villain Stupidity.

I think that even most Bond Villains know not to needlessly sacrifice a mook, unless said mook is dead, dying, or trapped in a death trap with Bond.

True. Their stupidity for which the trope gets its name, rarely involves betraying their henchmen.

Such actions tend to result in the mook helping Bond out - one that I can recall involved an assassin that had been left behind with Bond, and large bomb that would cause untold devastation. Said assassin was very unhappy with this, and that she and her friends had just been left for dead, and she got the bomb out of the mountain it was in, at the cost of her own life.

That was A View To A Kill. Max Zorin essentially sabotaged his own plan by betraying May Day in the end. The way May Day told Bond the timer was rigged to explode if tampered with and how far deep down it was and how huge it was, it seems unlikely Bond would have been able to remove it before the ka-boom.
Not by himself for sure.

Yeah - that's the one. Had to do some checking after my last post, as I didn't remember the name - not really a big Bond fan, but I've seen a few movies, that being one of them.

I like the way the movie is but I've fantasized about how the ending could have been done differently.
Suppose Dr. Mortner had long passed away and Zorin wanted to do something his creator and mentor would have been so proud of him for when he came up with Project Main Strike? Let's say May DayΒ gleefully assisted her boss and lover in the mass murder of everybody else, except Scarpine, who took the place of Mortner getting the blimp set up for Zorin and May Day.
If Bond had been quietly investigating when the mine shaft was flooded and he meets another lone survivor of Zorin's crew and the man penitently changes sides and helps him get the bomb out safely before it explodes. Maybe he even does the sacrifice to try to find redemption for his complicity and next it plays out with Stacey abducted and Bond grabbing the rope to hitch a ride.
When Bond tries the rope to the Golden Gate Bridge, Zorin gets knocked out, May Day orders Scarpine to get Bond, Stacey knocks him out and May Day follows her grabbing the axe. She has climactic fight with Bond while Stacey perches precariously under the pipe.Β Then Zorin wakes up to behold May Day vainly trying to climb back up the slippery structure. He shouts "MAY DAY! MAY DAY!" and she reacts with a mad laugh upon hearing him call out her name before she falls to her death. Finally the ending goes as in the original with Zorin enraged firing his gun at Bond who ducks for cover till the bullets are gone. Zorin fanatically takes some dynamite determined to avenge May Day and as Bond takes up the axe loosing the blimp,Β Zorin loses his balance and is blown up wrestling with Scarpine over the bomb.ο»Ώ
I really enjoy what actually happens, but I also like my little fantasy.

Like I said - was never really into James Bond.
That being said, you into Fantasy stuff? Just read a book called Villains By Necessity by Eve Forward - takes the usual Good Versus Evil story, and starts of with the background that there was an Evil King that was stopped by a group of Heroes before his actions destroy the world. Fast Forward 150 years, and it seems that the Heroes and their followers were a little too good at getting rid of Evil, and as a result, ironically enough, the world is in an even greater danger than it was before, and now it's up to a group of villains to save it by unleashing Evil back into it. Turns a lot of the common staples of Fantasy upon their heads, while giving others their own twist, while still keeping the whole Good Versus Evil, the whole "Join me - it's your destiny", someone changing sides, and of course, the big reveal of the Main Foe being someone's long lost father, and the Guy getting the Girl in the end.

So from where you sit you enjoy fantasy related things more than James Bond.
I do find fantasy interesting. I've been reading the classics, "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Hobbit" along with its sequel "The Lord of the Rings." Now I'm currently reading "Harry Potter."
Those are considered by many to be the essential fantasy books of today.

Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, Redwall series by Brian Jacques, and Dragon Knight series by Gordon R. Dickson are my current favorite three fantasy series.
