They pretty much went against the whole purpose of "GRIMM" They will kill off characters in other series but they kept Jungle Book the most PG compared to the rest of their titles.

Hypnosis is Disney's version, Not the original version which they based the series off. Kaa is Mowgli's ally in the original book

Actually, the original book version did use hypnosis, albeit a different kind than the movie version (and Mowgli was immune anyway...although I read somewhere that it may have been an "area effect" sort of thing).
