Hmm. I must admit to feeling a little disappointed about the ending. She seemed like a nice girl and it would have been nice to see her rescued from the belly of the snake, perhaps by a Snake Lord who fancies her as a friend? Or something along those lines. This has great potential, just seems to be hanging really bad here.

I for some reason have gotten a slight story idea that she gets rescued. Although not by a valiant knight, but by a very skilled huntsman. Idk just some slight continuation of this character.

Indeed I totally agree. So anyways here's what I got, so after being devoured by the kings pet snake, the guard still joyfully watching gets stabbed in the back by our hunter. He takes the keys and opens the cage door to encounter the snake. As he enters the layer of the beast he finds our poor servant girl inside but still alive in the belly of the snake, so what happens here he either kills the snake and cuts her out of its stomach, or he fights the snake as it try's to attack him then regurgitates the girl as snakes would do when threatened after a long meal. So he eventually kills the snake and he gets the girl safely out of the kingdom leading to a longish journey out of the kingdoms territory to more safer territory which is where the hunter was hired. This safer territory being in a rival kingdom. That's pretty much it and wow that was allot to type.
