I changed the colours and other stuff already, this is an old render, but this is basically the idea of my robot for my assignment 3D2.Hope you like it! Comments dont cost money and they make my day!
***UPDATE*** Alot of people have asked me in PM's if they can use this image for banners/other stuff.

I modeled this robot when I was pretty much new to the 3D stuff yet everybody likes it somehow

it looks like an action figure, albiet a brittle one because of the upper arms ... I would have never guessed that it was a 3D render.

Cool design, and I really like the details. Nice teal glow too, good color choice.
Only complaint (and it's a minor one), although the "thin upper arm/bulky forearm" look is cool, it's carried to a bit of an extreme in this bot. The arms and legs both look like they'd break off in a stiff breeze, let alone support the weight of the hardware they're attached to.

looks really futuristic, kinda like the design was a fusion of a ps3 and a wii and some other matter of console in the near future (Igame)

i really like his forearms- it seems like another type of hand can come out. i also love the view behind his legs- you can see that this guy can really move & the parts aren't just placed to look pretty. nice work.[link]

I like the contrast of the soft edges in the face with the harder look of the rest of the robot. It makes me want to empathize with the robot, without knowing anything about it. The birdlike foot design is really interesting as well.

That is a sweet robot! Modeled in 3dMax and rendered in Vray huh? Hmm...have to look into this Vray when I start doing models like this.

Well u can create the same lighting as this without vray i think. But fact is u can make better stuff with vray but i have to practice more

hey that's super cool, but i think the yellow/black lines on the back accessories, are way too old fushioned, they look like leftovers from older machine, the rest of the robot is just way too futuristic compared with the feeling of these lines.
