Uh, I know I should've asked *first* but I hope you don't mind I had this Derpy as a tattoo.
This is the best picture of Derpy I found in the whole internet. Sorry, credits totally to you though!

Lol. It'd hard to create unique content when we have such an active and artistic fandom. The oversaturation makes stuff like this happen all the time but it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Did you use the Ellipse Tool for her eyes? it seems a little oddly shaped, and also, the Eyes have a Gradient and Highlights..She is also crossed eyed
BUT,Discluding the eyes,it is very nice,All i can say is to add less nodes to it (The Bumpy parts are noticeable) You also have some areas where you forgot to make the end sharp (Example: if you look at her back legs and see right bellow her cuttie mark, that one line isn't sharpened)
It looks like that you are using Photoshop (i maybe wrong)
If you REALLY want the best results,Use Adobe Illustrator (people say InkScape....i really don't recommend that,it is too confusing). This Program is made specifically for Vectoring
IF you already have this program and/or would like to know how to use it correctly, Use this Video Tutorial { [link] }
If you need any more help, you can contact me,I Hope this helped

You use InkScape
This is probably why you got the results like this...Yes,it is free, but it's just not professional, Adobe Illustrator may cost money (Well...you could use warez like ThePirateBay) but it is professional

Hey man, don't blame it on Inkscape. Personally I think adobe is overrated and anything but user friendly. Yes it is the "world standard" for graphic arts, but Id say Illustrator isn't that different from inkscape. Also I wouldn't say Inkscape isn't professional, and the results are not because of the program.

Im not saying the results are BECAUSE of the program...Im saying it's because of the program's lack of simplicity
Adobe is chosen by every one for a reason, and it is user friendly,i used InkScape and i didn't know what to do at all,the Adobe tools were easy to understand even when i first started using it
BUT,this is all Opinion,so it doesn't matter what we say really

Not a bad vector Derpy is always awesome!
I don't know how much of a critique you want, so for now: watch the width on the part of the wing closest to the floor (it looks a little thick). A couple other parts seems a little thick in some places (like the front leg in the foreground). The part where the flank turns into the leg is just a straight cap at the end. I don't know if that's intentional or if it was meant to be tapered like the others. And just kinda general work on smoother curves. If you aren't already, I'd suggest using some circle/ellipse tool for the eyes (not sure what program you're using).
If you want more a more detailed critique, let me know. I poked around at your other vectors. You're pretty good. What program do you use?

Appreciate the honesty! I've heard inconsistent line width is the biggest problem for noobs and I was certainly no exception, definitely something I'll pay closer attention to. I use Inkscape by the way.

You're welcome. I see improvement with each vector you've uploaded, so just stick with it And I like Inkscape. For ponies, it's easier than Illustrator (to me at least). I really like the stroke to path tool thing. There is also a new thing called Ponyscape. It's based off Inkscape. I haven't had the chance to poke around on it, but I hear it's pretty nice for pony vectors. The group for it is here if you're interested: [link]
