This is my latest piece of work for a car combat game i've been working on for the past few years. Yes this project is moving slow, only because we are a very small team consisting of 3 programmers, 1 3D artist and 1 concept artist. As a whole we have gotten far as a team. Our goal is to get a demo out before the end of August 2010. Mainly because we are going to enter this game into Activision's Independent Game Competition.We are a small group of dedicated developers that are seeking a 3d animator, 3d artist, concept artist and sound engineer. Heck even another programmer wouldn't hurt.
So if you live around the Southern California area and feel like working on a game project, shoot me a message. We are mainly doing this for a good portfolio piece.
Help revive the car combat genre. lol

Sadly reminds me of this game Id Software is coming out with called "Rage" or something that's pretty much a vehicle combat/fps game with post-apocalyptic elements. Work fast on that demo if you don't wanna be seen as hacking off another developer, gnome sayin'? My own projects rotted in development hell to the point where nothing I originally planned for it is original anymore...
Best of luck either way, I know the difficulty's involved with big dreams and small teams.

Yeah we were pretty pissed to see our idea was very similar to RAGE, not only did it look the same, it played the same as well. We changed direction after that and then Activision dropped Blood Drive on us. It sucks when you see your idea get beaten to the punch. Keep in mind that this game was in development way before the movie Death Race existed. Till this day, everyone compares our game to Death Race. lol
