What I did after my first lego rage
I bought a bunch of tackle boxes and just stored my legos in there

Not just the small kind though, the kind for deep sea fisherman haha
So I ended up with like 5 of those full of legos and had them organized
based on size/shape etc so I never had the problem again hehe o.o

And for the ones I had way to many of I just put them in Rubbermaid's
by color so that at least when I needed to build something I could just
go and look for the color then sort from there haha...
