I have been asked a few times now, about how I did my Donations WidgetSo I decided to make my method available to everyone who wants to use it.
PLEASE NOTE: There are NO GRAPHICS included in this zip!!!
You will need to add your own Graphics to Customize your widget your way.
Zip Includes --
A Copy of the Preview Image -- this is NOT a usable graphic, and is included for REFERENCE purposes only.
A Text Document containing the Code I use, and some minor explanations
Some Progress Bars you can Use in your Donations Widget --Β

it's because only you can see that transparent donate button, on other's profiles it looks fine. don't worry! <3

Thank you so much for this, I finally was able to make a nice donation-widget! My page is still a work in progress and being organized, but with the donation-widget it looks at least somehow neat! Just a quick question tho, is the duplicate button really only visible for me, and how about the core-icon on the top left corner? In any case, Β I really appreciate it that you took the time to put this out there for other people's use! <3

I took that screen shot just now ..yes the double button is only visible to you .. anyone else will see exactly what I saw, and screen captured for you
I have not re-vamped the widget in awhile, so the core member icon issue is new to me ..but I will look into that asap! Thanks so much for the awesome message!

Thank you so much for this! It's extremely helpful, and I'm really loving how I can now customize the donation bar *w* I'm having a little trouble with the duplicate donate buttons, but I'm going to tweak a few things to see if it helps

I know the double button appears annoying .. but believe me, you're the only one who sees two buttons
Everyone else, will only see 1 .. I had to do it that way because one is DA's embedded button,Β
which ceases to work with the background image etc. coded in .. so I added the code required for a Donate button that will work on top of the background imageΒ

Yeah, I switched onto an alternate account a little while ago and saw that it was just this account seeing duplicate ^^
That's actually really interesting, I've always admired people who can do advanced CSS/coding like that

That's a very nice tutorial, but I couldn't set a background normally :< When I put the url of the background and then pasted the full code (with all the urls) the background was next to the text. I changed width and height, but it's still just next to the text. The same when I wrote "center" instead of "left" - the background was over the text.Β

Custom Widgets are the same as Journal skins, sadly, they only work with premium memberships
I'm fairly certain that is why it is not behaving properly for you ..

I did once on AzamiYamada , but I do know that me and codes don't get along. -_- My friends normally have to put codes onto my profile for me and tell me not to do anything or they bite my hands off. -_-

(though I have a little problem DDX I read in these comments that someone also had the same problem as I do, with the "floaty donation button", I somehow figured out how to cover the real button with the one from the code, but it looks a bit odd D:: could you please look at my page if there is only one button, if you have some free time? (q.q) I'm so sorry to bother you DX I also logged out of my account to see my page like a visitor, but I saw both buttons there D:

The reason you are seeing two buttons is because one is added in the code, and one is the standard DA Donate button
when other Deviants view your page they only see the button added in the code, you are the only one who can see both
I had to do it that way, otherwise no one else can see a donation button on your Donations box ..I know it is annoying, but
trust me I looked at your page, and I only see one button, it looks all good for me
