I'm kinda on a Naruto kick at the moment, especially since there's plenty of characters worth spending a few hours to draw. I've decided to commit to lighting in this style to see how it looked. With some adjustments and the right colors, I'm really happy with how it made things pop.Related content

Its NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERUTO! this looks cool, I haven't watch much naruto so I can't remember who this guy is but yeah, fits the art style of the show perfectly, I like ninja's and ninja's are cool. That's all I can say, Also the guys in the show look like there wearing bullet-resistant vests like the guy you drew, I always found it weird. so to begin your work looks pretty static to be honest it would probably look better if you made his left arm face more towards us. secondly his eyes seem to be out of proportion they are way too small for his face another thing is that his eyes seem almost completely open witch gives him a boring look it seems like he doesn't really care at all it would've looked better if they where half closed. something else I've noticed is the headband which looks pretty flat he's pulling it up so there should be a bit more movement in that. considering his right hand shouldn't that be placed more upward? like that the fingers are placed over the mouth. The last thing that is really bugging me is the strain of hair missing at the left side of his face. What I do like are the shadings especially in the hair I just love how detailed those are and the folds in his clothes look pretty cool as well
