Here's the classic crane without something to scale it by. I thought this the better shot but also want show you something to show it's size as I have a surprise in store.

This is really beautiful-the coloring on the bird is awesome. How long do they take?

they take about 5 minutes or so usually depending on whether i'm talking while i'm doing it or not 
i love telling stories of what i'm making while i make them for someone lol

definitely do...so much fun to see people's faces as they see a flat piece of paper turn into a three dimensional creation

I haven't tried and when I did, I was a kid and it was a bit difficult. Lol, I would be like that as well.

sometimes i do them as a form of meditation...something so calming about creating them for me

i LOVE this. the pattern on the paper just makes the crane look more oriental. it reminds me of a geisha that would be by the lake when a crane would be on the other side looking down up on the water. God, i just put a story behind it.
