Nice. Wings are really hard to draw in my opinion. The only wing I am pleased with of mine that I drew is my piece "Sorrow of the Sinner" in my gallery, that's the only one I'm really fully pleased with on lighting as well. Used a bit of a reference picture for the human part of me than fudged the rest on the wings... [link]

Thanks! I had a reference picture for the human so lighting was easier. I free winged it on the wings (no pun intended.) My friend helped me make the wings look better with the greenish pale color in them.
Still I like your wing feathers are had and annoying to draw.

That is so, so gorgeous. I was just discussing Komonoinawa (an extinct bird in the Blackfoot territory; the only North American purple birds) with a friend of mine, so I really like it. It's so detailed and intriate and soft looking, and it's purple! I wish I was half this good. Never stop being awesome.

No problem. Your work is gorgeous and I would love to see you do more birds; your eye for detail and attention to the lay of the feathers is way beyond what most artists on dA do. I know it can be hard to get noticed on this site, but never take that as a sign of your talent. You're really amazing at your work.
