I always loved the scenes of struggling and mmmphhing but lately a different type of scene has caught my eye.

In this scene, Selma Blair's psycho sister has just drugged her and cut some implanted high tech thingy out of her arm, then left her bound and gagged while she steals her identity.

As you can see, Selma's wrists are zip-tied in front of her and she's gagged with a strip of duct tape. Her feet are tied. I'm not sure if it's another zip tie or with some string or rope found in the house. Regardless, she could easily escape. Or at least peel the gag off and untie her feet. I think she could probably slip her thin little wrists out of that zip tie as well. Instead she sits quietly and watches her sister leave--knowing that it's the safest move since the sister is such a nutcase.

I'm liking the idea more of being tied up for show or just to prove dominance. You might have read my journal a while ago about how my college roommate used to tie me up . At the time I wrote it, I thought it was a lame memory since I could get out so easily if I struggled. But now I'm starting to think it's kind of cool and the memories aren't so bad...
