Lol. I feel bad that my mom got this book for me thinking it would just be a fun, thrilling mystery because my reaction inside was very different. I was still in a bit of denial about liking being tied up so this made me feel all funny. I still remembering looking at the cover and skipping to the end to look for the scene. The one thing that really stands out to me now is the power play of tying them so they could see the other one struggling and mmmpphing.

I started having a fantasy about a girl at school rescuing me. It was a girl who liked me but who also always acted like she was better than me at everything. And we were very competitive. It would have been the ultimate humiliation to have to be rescued by her. Which I found that one corner of my mind kind of liked.
