Crystal, Frosty, Sky, and Romance sat around Crystal's table. After nearly escaping death in the dark mirror realm, the rescue team had went back to Crystal's to think of a plan. "Okay so what do we know so far after these past few weeks?" Crystal asked. "Ender is being endlessly tortured." Romance said. "I was turn into a bat-pony, sent to one of the mirror realms where I almost died!" Sky continued. "And Hyde has a soft side and can maybe change!" Frosty ended. The three raised a brow as Frosty shrugged, "That's what we all hope for but won't happen." "Hmm." Crystal said putting a hoof to her chin, "Ender wrote down in that book on how to defeat Hyde but was obviously ripped out by captain buzz-kill." Romance took the book out as she flipped of the page. She realized something as she looked at some of the scribbled drawings. "Guys did you ever notice that these drawings here have our cutie marks?" she said. "What?" they said in surprise. Looking at it Sky said, "But this was written hundreds of years ago!" "It seems like we're all connected to this." Crystal said. She sneezed as glitter came out once more and more lazer puppies appeared. Crystal put a hoof to her head saying, "This is getting out of control."

"If only we can see exactly where Ender is at." Frosty said petting one of the puppies. Suddenly Crystal felt something struck her like a bag of bricks, as she recalled something. "Romance!" she said, "Hand me my spellbook." The unicorn tossed the book towards her hooves as she caught it. Flipping through the pages she said, "Now hand me the mirror, there's something I want to try." Receiving the mirror and finding the page she took a deep breath saying, "Let's see if this works." Taking a step back and holding the mirror she said, "I summon the all seeing eye to tear a whole into the sky." As she recited the words the room starts to shift a little as the three ponies start to grow worried. "Unveal to me what is hidden. Reveal to me what is forbidden." she finished. The mirror shaked rapidly as Sky yelled, "What did you do?" Crystal gulped trying to control the mirror, "I don't know! I just well it just came to me and I-" She stopped as Frosty said, "Look! Whatever you did Crystal it worked!"

The four ponies gasped in awe as they saw Ender, curled up on the ground crying herself to sleep. "Ender!" they said. An idea formed into her head as Crystal turned to Sky, "Sky, you still have memory of that dark mirror place right?" "How can I forget?" Sky shivered. "I think, with Romance's help and magic of course, we can get ourselves to where Ender is at." "Great!" they all agreed as Crystal opened the door. "Now let's go save Ender!" As they all piled out Crystal took a look back at the book. Something urged her to go back and take it with her.

The four ponies trotted along town, were it seemed almost deserted. "The place sure is different." Romance said. "Better off if everyone's inside," Crystal said, "Away from all the danger." "We may be the only ones brave and strong enough to go against Hyde." Frosty said. Suddenly Romance stopped as she started to scream in pain. "Romance, what's wrong!?" the friends cried in shock. Romance started to shake her head side to side as she said, "No! Please! Stop!" "What do we do?" Sky asked frantically. " Don't be afraid Crystal sang as she said in her thoughts Now is not time for my disorder. "Crystal now is not a time to be singing!" Sky said. "We got to think of something!" Frosty said. Crystal had to think fast and the only thing that came to mind was look through her book. "Try to calm her, I'll think of something." Crystal said as she frantically flipped through her book. "Romance fight it, you're here and okay." Sky said softly placing his hoof on her shoulder. Romance shook her head as she wrenched away form him, "NO! Go Away!" "Crystal anytime now." Frosty said. Crystal gulped as she found something that might help. "Okay let me see uh," she said as she recited the words, "What may fright you, will never unfold. Let your dreams be the one true story to be told."

A rainbow formed as it shot towards Romance. It entered her head as Romance fought for a few more moments. After her eyes returned to normal she asked, "What happened?" "You freaked out!" Sky aid going into hugging her. "I think it might have been one of Hyde's minions." she said hugging him back. "Nice thinking there Crystal." Romance said. Crystal look down as she said, "But the singing wasn't." "But Crystal it was good, okay the timing for singing wasn't good but your singing was good, but you still helped Romance." "It's all on me, I'm the one who keeps bringing us down with these dumb.......joyful surges!" Crystal said as she said, "I don't even know why this is happening to me. What does this mean?" "Don't you dare be like that Crystal," Romance said, "You are the one who brought us and are keeping this team together." "You're the one who somehow finds a way to see the positive side in the situation." Hope added in. "But most of all, you're the one who has made it possible for us to have the courage to face Hyde." Sky ended. Crystal looked at them. Suddenly she felt her mind breaking free. She gasped as memories started rushing back to her in a series of flashbacks as she now realized what was going on.

"That's it!" she said happily. "What is?" Romance asked. "It all makes sense," Crystal said, "Seeing you all here made me remember." "Remember what?" Frosty asked. "I know why this is all happening." she went on. "You do?" Sky said. "The flowers, the glitter, my compulsive singing disorder , and me shinging like the light, the spellbook, I know why I'm going through this!"Crystal's ears dropped as she said, "But that means. Oh no." "What?" they all said in anticipation. "I don't have much time before-" Crystal started before she stiffened up. Her eyes drooped as she fell to the ground. "Crystal!" they all said. More flowers started appearing as they all panicked. "Romance do something!" Sky said. "Okay!" she said as she was about to reach to help Crystal up. "No.......don't....." Crystal murmured. "Crystal what's happening to you!?" Frosty asked. "It's....okay friends....I'll......be.....fine...." she said. "Doesn't look like you're fine!" Sky cried. "Please......watch.....over....me when.....I......." Crystal tired to say. "Crystal don't go! Don't die!" they said. "Stay.....strong....I'll be.....back..." were her final words as the flowers covered her completely.

"No." they all whispered. It was quiet for a few seconds. Sky suddenly turned to Romance, "Why didn't you save her!?" "Excuse me?" she said. "It's your fault!" he shouted tears coming out. "I did you ding bat!" she cried back, tears streaming down her face. "Guys this isn't what Crystal would want." Frosty said. "Shut up Frosty!" they both said. "I'm leaving!" Romance cried as she tearfully teleported away. Sky sat down as the tears went down his cheek. Frosty softly said, "Sky. We need to go after her." What's the point?" he said, "Crystal's gone and Romance hates me now." "But Crystal-" she started before Sky turned saying, "Don't you get it Frosty? Crystal is gone! And it's-it's-" he stopped saying, "-all my fault." "No. We are in this together. It's no body's fault." she comforted. "Friends." a voice came.

Frosty and Sky looked around. "Who is it?" Sky asked. "Hehe, who do you think?" the voice said. "Crystal?" they said as Sky added, "Where are you?" "Don't be alarmed. I am fine, I'm simply going through the next phase." she said. "But you're dead!" Sky said looking at the none moving flowerbed, "You're laying over there." "Seriously?" Crystal said, "I told you not to worry." "But where are you? What's happening to you?" Frosty asked. "Not much time to be chatting like this, you need to go after Romance. You three have to be here when I come back." she said. "But I drove her away, she'll never come back." Sky said in guilt. "I will help convince her just go now, before it's to late." she said. Sky turned to Frosty, "You heard her, let's go." Frosty climbed onto his back as he flew off to go get Romance.

Meanwhile, Romance was angrily throwing memories into her boiling pot. Tears streamed down her face as she said, "I let you down Crystal. I let you down Ender. I'm so sorry." Knocking came at her door. "Romance!" came a male voice. "Please let us in." came a femal voice. Romance rolled her eyes in annoyance as she shouted, "Go away!" Suddenly Frosty bust down the door. "Didn't want to do this." Frosty said. "Get out of here!" Romacne said in anger. "Please Romance," Sky said, "I know your mad and you have every right but Crystal needs our help."Why should I listen to you!" Romance shouted. "Romance I'm sorry. Trust me please." Sky plead. Romance turned her face from them in anger. "Romance go now! You need to be there for me. You need to go back to the flower bed." came Crystal's voice. Romance looked around in shock. She sighed as she said, "Fine."
