my friend keeps on reminding me how seriously this aint a good match, he has a point tho coz Psylocke doesnt have to be in contact with Chun-li to hurt her, all she has to do is use her psi-attack to fry her opponent's brain from a distance. >.<
well since i like em both to get it on this will be like just sort of an exercise, Psylocke aint allowed to use her long-distance telepathic abilities, well she can use her psychic blade, that is "if" she can even come near Chun-Li and her lightning kick. Its all about the haiiiyaaa, the karate chop chops and foot-in-the face ^^ bet who will win? we'll have the facial surgeons on speed dial

If this is only using hand-to-hand skills, my vote goes to Psylocke. If she can successfully spar with someone like Wolverine and dodge Hand ninjas left and right, Chun Li's Lightning Kick is of no consequence. Also, keep in mind that Betsy's a trained killer and has no qualms about using lethal force. Chunners may put up a fight, but Betsy's just too hardcore for her.

I completely agree with you, although Chun-li fans may disagree, after all, she is considered to be the strongest woman in the world, and is lightning fast.

Tough call, but I'm going with Psylocke. I can't remember much of Chun-Li's abilities other than having long and strong legs for her amazing kicks. Psylocke was trained by The Hand and has sparred with Wolverine without using her powers and has won. She is a lot like Wolverine when it comes to fighting.

Thanks! She has always been my favorite female X character. Back when I first started reading comics more than 20 years ago, she was one of the only Asian females on the good guys team along with Jubilee. I know she wasn't Asian by birth, but you take what you can get right? lol. She is just such a cool character anyway and it was nice seeing an Asian woman kick butt with the good guys instead of being the stereotypical bad girl.

I like that you gave them different faces (Chun-Li's mouth is smaller, her eyes higher up on her face, etc). I recall seeing some similar images from other artists in the past (including Jim Lee, if I'm not mistaken) where all female characters look the same, and only have different costumes.
Did you take this approach with their bodies, as well? I'm not sure due to the "weight-on-the-left-leg" pose, and I know many proportions have to be *similar*, or the half-and-half effect gets ruined (and this is a run-on sentence, I'm sorry), but are their shoulders, hips, waists and breasts different proportions?
On a final note re: "this ain't a good match." As Logan once noted, Betsy is an action junkie--she'd keep her psy-powers out of it as long as it was fun.

Well, Psylocke has that, but Chun still has Kikoken. Tho Kikoken's pretty slow unless it's EX.
Still tho, I wouldn't be too mad w/e one won; it'd be a beautiful fight to see go down.
Nice styling w/ it too; it's got a look a bit like something off Marvel's front covers.
