I seem to be drawing a lot of chibis these days...I liked using the black with red streaks so much I decided to try it again

That's really good and I'm not a fan of gothicness. The shading is just right and the background really helps it as well.

I think that's the idea. I don't get the appeal of being scary and depressed. Unfortunatley I live with one. My little brother. Hopefullt the black nail varnish etc. will run out soon.

I actually saw a goth at high school last year with this hairstyle, except hers was dreads. Normally I don't like dreads, but hers were all black in loose low pigtails and she had five or six red ones in each side! It looked really cool! There's a lot of people with mohawks and stuff at my school, I've seen hair that black, neon green, hot pink, red, and one guy even had a blonde afro! O.o

I couldn't do ANYTHING like that to MY hair, it's way too long! It comes down to my butt
I measured it one day, it was about 75cm from the top of my head to the end of my hair xD

This isn't really traditional chibi. Though the girl herself may be sort of chibi (meaning small/little).
It's nice though.

I must admit, I don't look at most of the pics that come up on Deviant Watch, cause I never get any less than 10 at once, on average, I get 30 pics a day! O.o
I know she's not a traditional chibi, but she isn't 'realistic' anime, so I had to kinda improvise...

Chibi's rock man ~ Especially the gothic kind. It's seems such a coinsidence too since I've recently been into net clothing (not for me but for my characters I draw). Anyways, I like her design which makes her seem innocent yet dark. I also love the shading, gives me a sense that your good with shinyness and lighting. Great job ~. And remember... chibis rock!!
