Finally drew this old OC I only typed up and used for one Pokémon RP in a forum from long ago!

Name: Jonni

Species: Human

Age: 16

Physical description:

He's a 5'6" guy with medium-length auburn hair and blue eyes. He has a lot of scars on his arms and upper torso because he used to be a member of an unknown knife gang back in Sinnoh. He's slender, lean; and more of the agile fighter body type than a brute brawler.
Profession: Wandering rogue, obtains most of his Pokemon through fighting other criminals or occasionally stealing. He often sells the Pokemon he steals for money and keeps a few that he likes.
Personality: A rough life can create rough people and that's exactly what he is. He's not one to show his emotions and is willing to do questionable acts just to get things done or get what he wants. He lacks any remorse for most of his actions. In most social situations, he is the quiet strategist type, only speaking when he's sure of an idea or plan. He's very observant of those around him and generally prefers to be alone. In group situations, he prefers people that follow a hierarchy. He only helps people if it benefits him or he absolutely has to. Though he does his best to maintain his cold, heartless facade, Jonni does have a soft side underneath, most specifically towards his Pokemon and his deceased parents.

General Character Bio/Information:

Jonni is of the Sinnoh region, born in Veilstone City. His father was a scientist, a former member of Silph Co. who moved to the Sinnoh region with his wife to do extended research. Jonni's mother was a Pokemon breeder who was always giving Jonni lessons on caring and maintaining the welfare of all kinds of Pokemon. At the age of eight, Jonni lost both of his parents due to a robbery gone wrong. An estranged Team Galatic grunt broke into their home, demanding their belongings, Pokemon, money and etc. When Jonni's father did not comply, the intruder snapped. Jonni hid in the shoe closet, watching the skirmish through a small peephole, not even daring to move a muscle. When the intruder left, his house was in ruins and the only Pokemon left he could was his father's Croagunk and his mother's Glameow.

Having no family to turn to, Jonni was submitted to a children's home where he was constantly bullied and teased. Over time, he was able to escape from his home and began living on the streets of Veilstone. Times were rough on him, food was hard to come by, and sleeping out in rainy or cold weather is never easy to bear. He eventually found a temporary home with a ragtag group of kids who were orphaned or had fled from home. This group then resorted to theft in order to obtain food, water, Pokemon, and even money. Jonni stayed with this group for eight more years of his life, until he was finally exiled after disputing with one of the higher-ranking members.

Needing to find a place where he could live in safety, with reduced chances of being recognized by gang members or former enemies wanting to kill him, he fled to Canalave City and snuck onto a ship that headed for the Hoenn region. Throughout his journey, he has been in numerous fights and stolen from numerous people in order to get by. He does not hang around others and keeps on his own, his only other company being his own Pokemon.

Because of his mother's teachings, Jonni knows a good amount of knowledge on Pokemon and knows how to treat them and care for them. Most of the Pokemon that he's stolen are often conflicted on how to feel because he treats them with great care, yet they know he took them away from their original owners. The only ones that play exceptions to this are Pokemon Jonni's stole that had been or were being abused by trainers. Back in Sinnoh, some often dubbed him the "Pokemon Piper" since it appeared that he hypnotized all the stolen Pokemon into liking him.

It should also be noted that Jonni now has a small asset of skills and items that he uses to evade the police. He intentionally grew both of his thumb nails long in order to attach and conceal a small pick, meant for picking locks and cuffs--if possible. Hidden up his sleeve is a much longer pick that he uses if he is handcuffed from behind. He's stolen and occasionally hand-made a few smoke bombs and has made sure his Pokemon know how to use the move Flash in order to escape. He is good at keeping a low profile and capable of changing his looks in order to be undetected.

Jonni carries a pocket knife and a pistol with him. He has killed someone before using both, and will not hesitate to do it again if necessary. Jonni is not the type to outright kill a bystander but has no problems putting their life on the line and pushing them to the limit if he needs to.
