Was watching an ABC family marathon of Harry Potter (they finally added Part I and II) and my roommate and I came up with this logic by accident; it was a lovely moment of serendipity. -w-Related content

I agree. With all the above lol.Β My roommate and I have this headcanon theory that Barty Crouch Jr. is just an alternate universe Doctor, where he becomes the Valeyard.
Barty Crouch Jr. did come first, since Goblet of Fire was done and releasedΒ a year before Tennant become the Doctor and the "bigger on the inside" term has been coined in the Doctor Who franchise for years. If you do want something to go on, the chapter in Goblet of Fire with Barty Crouch Jr. in it was called "the Parting of Ways," which is ironically theΒ name of theΒ episode where the Ninth Doctor regenerates and becomes Ten-Tennant.

In Harry Potter, Barty Crouch Sr. is a good guy, and Jr. is a bad guy. In the DW episode "Rise of the Cybermen", it's the other way around. John Lumic and Barty Crouch Sr. are the same actor.

I decided I wanted to watch a Harry Potter movie with a friend the other day, and they told me to choose a random one- I chose the fourth just so I could see David Tennant XD
And I think when in that flashback-memory-thing when they capture Barty Crouch Jr to take him to Azkaban, part of me was like, stop, don't hurt the Doctor! What are you doing to him? XDΒ
