Species: Unicorn dragon hybrid

Age: 17 ( subject to change.... but that's what I'm thinking for now?)

Short Info ( more to come later): Daniel is VERY shy. He often doesn't talk much to ponies, for fear of what happens at night. His parents were explorers, and recently took a mysterious, star-shaped artifact out of an ancient tomb, near the realm of the Duskcorns ( if I ever get back to that comic LOL). The artifact was gold, sparkly, but his folks handled it with gloves and warned Daniel NEVER to touch it. They wouldn't even tell him what it was, no matter how much he asked. WELL can you blame him for being curious? This super, shiny, awesome looking thing is sitting in front of his face, WHY NOT TOUCH IT?! he felt really drawn to it, ever since his folks brought it home. He listened for months, he didn't touch it, but the feeling kept growing more and more, it was like he HAD to touch it, as least once. WELP.... one night while his parents were out on another night trip, he walked into their study, took the glass that was shielding the object from ponies hoofs off, and.... poked it. Right away.... something felt wrong, it was as if he gained a new type of magic, and a new form! It was painful, and terrifying. He turned into this sparkling, purplish beast, and went a little wild in his parents study.....

The next morning his folks asked what the hell happened in their study, and Daniel was exhausted, he couldn't remember what happened the other night so he lied and said someone tried to break in to steal the shiny star. The folks were furious, and grew paranoid of the security of their ancient objects. However... now Daniel has a problem. Every night he transforms into that strange beast, although with each night he gained a little more control of himself, but not much. Somehow he was hiding his new urges, and uncontrolled magic from his folks ( who were far too busy excavating, and they didn't even notice the once shiny artifact, their most prized possession, was now dull and disgusting looking, since all the power kinda transferred to Daniel. He's panicked now, how does he fix this before his folks find out he touched the forbidden object?! The strange orange tattoo like mark also appeared on his arm, and he just told his folks he got a new tattoo, much to their dismay.

CUE REGINALD, his new best nerdy unicorn friend without the horn. He's hoping that together they can figure out a cure, or at least how to get this new uncontrollable power back into the star, or even figure out what the heck the power is.
