Weaknesses: Heat, very bright light

Likes: flying, drawing, reading, everything that has to do with winter, Spring, swimming, fireflys

Dislikes: Summer, deserts, jerks, when someone tells her she is short, large crowds, cages

Fears: Needles, scavengers/Humans (only if they are aggressive, because a few of them tried to trap her in a net once), cages/ being trapped

Abilitys : Nightvision, Camouflage, change colors (only blues, white,black and purples), Waterbreathing, breathe fire, go into other Dragons dreams, Animus(cant control her power/spells fail often), Ice Magic (can’t really control that either)

Backstory:

Winterdream hatched on an island somewhere between Phyrrhia and Pantala, where she and her siblings , Truthbringer (Animus, Three moon born with a lower mindreading abbillety, three years older than Winter) and Elysia (No known nightwing or animus powers, a few hours older than Winter), were raised by their parents, Frostfang (father,Ice/Rain) and Nightwave (mother,Sea/night).

Winter discovered her animus powers when she was two years old, but spells often went wrong or didn't worked at all. She had always known about her ice magic (but could never really control it, which often led to her accidentally freezing her surroundings when she was scared or angry) and her Ability to go into other dragons dreams. Soon she realiesed that her powers varied with her strengths and weaknesses (they became stronger when it was cold and/or dark and weaker when it was hot and/or very bright). Her Amulet, given to her from her brother, was enchanted to help her to control her powers and, what she wasn't aware of at that point, give her the power to shapeshift into six different creatures (and back to her original form) and travel to the worlds they live in. While time passed, she bound her powers to the Amulet more and more, unaware of what she was doing and that it ment, that taking it of would weaken her immensely.

One day, when she was four, (from the time somewhere at the beginning of the dragonet prophecy) she went out for hunting and got spotted by a Skywing patrol. She was a really good flyer, even for her jung age, but she hadn't got a chance against five fullgrown Skywings. After a short fight they took her with them, bringing her to Queen Scarlets arena, where the dragonets of Destiny arrived a few days later. She managed to flee when they escaped, using the chaos to destroy the chains with the help of her animus powers. After that, she was just roaming across the continent, returning home to visit her family sometimes and avoiding other dragons whenever she could, unable to shake of the scaring memories, that the time in the arena gave her. A few times she even swam over to pantala, but stayed away from the dragons that lived there.

After quite some time, when the jade mountain academy opend, her family suggested her to go there and make some friends. She listend to them and went there, afraid of how the other dragons would react to her being a hybrid, but most of them were friendly. From time to time a few dragons like Flame or Icicle picked on her for being short and looking weired, but usually some other dragon came to help her.

Winter sometimes used her power to go into other dragons dreams to find more about them, and soon noticed strange things about the dragons around her: Moonwatcher, the shy Nightwing from Jade Winglet , seemed to be troubled by the same nightmare every night, Flame constandly dreaming about violence and murder, but what really terrorfied her, was that constand, dark, presence hovering over the school and surrounding areas, once she felt how it tried to break into her mind and dig into her thoughts, for a few moments it even felt like the "thing" tried to make contact with her and from that moment, she knew that it knew about all her powers and secrets. She always wondred what it was, not knowing how soon she would find out.

At the time Darkstalker broke out of his prison, she was near by, because she wasn't able to sleep that night, blurry visions waking her up everytime she fell into a slight slumber, so she went out for a flight, hoping it would clear her thoughts, when she herd someone arguing. She flew closer, seeing the members of the Jade Winglet (exept Kinkajou), fighting over a scroll, then peril suddendly grabbed it, burning it into a pile of ash. Suddendly the ground began to shake and a giant Nightwing rose from the ground. Winter knew that this was who the dark presence she had noticed, belonged to, the moment she saw him. She also knew that he knew exactly where she was.

For her, the next days were pure horror, and she spend most of the time hiding from Darkstalker, terrorfied of what he would do to her, once he caught her alone.

Then, he finally left, taking the schools Nightwings with him. She first thought about staying at the acadamy, but she had this strange feeling, that she had to follow the small group, which she did, into the rainforest and later to the lost city of night. That was when her worst nightmare came true. Darkstalker cought her of guard, first trying to talk to her, but whe she made an attempt to fly away, he pinned her down, making her unable to move. She felt nothing but pure horror, imagining what he would do to her, when suddendly her Amulet started glowing in a bright blue light that covered her completely. Then there was a flash of blue and everything got dark.
