Description
Recently I developed a new view towards this little coupling, the concept is relative as it something some might see and others won't.RenaImp is this kind of coupling, there's no canon evidence towards it nor against, maybe it was never meant to exist at all, but while some see romantic undertones others see friendship or even a mother-son like relationship.
I am not very sure of how to perceive it,but I must admit, I still like them as a couple, XD.

Heheh, I think it all came from just seeing them in the show together. Personally, given type and nature, I think that Gatomon and Impmon make for an interesting couple. It may not be "the" Gatomon or "the" Impmon, but I like the thought of the opposites attracting.

You think so? Renamon isn't very expressive thus hard to portray happy.

I like them more as a couple, too.
But if I wanted to look at it another way, I wouldn't say mother-son. Yes, Renamon's more mature than most Rookie/Child Digimon, but she still is one. And when she was unsure about her partnership with Rika (Ruki), she went to Impmon for advice. That, to me, shows she saw him as an equal.
I would call it (older) sister-brother, not mother-son. If she weren't so much taller, I don't think anyone would think she was like his mother.
